ImageChef and ImageChef+ Application Freezes
If the app freezes and you cannot use it, you do not need to restart your iPhone to fix the problem. Simply tap the Home button to leave the app, then double-tap the home button to bring up the task manager. By swiping up on the small screenshot of the ImageChef app, you are able to terminate the application. Finally, run the app again and the problem should be resolved.
ImageChef or Visual Poetry Application Doesn't Save Photos
In order to access the camera and save photos to your camera roll, the device needs permission, which can sometimes be accidentially denied. To reset the permissions, go to the Settings Application then Privacy -> Photos and make sure the setting is set to 'on' for ImageChef apps.
ImageChef In-App Purchases Missing
If you have purchased the Visual Poetry Video or other feature and it is not shown as available, tap the info (i) button on the home page of the application, then the 'Restore Purchases' button on the bottom of the page.
I Am Awesome: Application fails to launch after upgrade
I Am Awesome 2.3 has problems after upgrading from a previous version. To resolve the problem, please go to the App Store and upgrade to I Am Awesome 2.6.
Extra features missing in 'I Am Awesome'
If your extra templates are missing, delete the app and download it again, then go to 'Extra Features' and click the 'Restore' button. An application update that resolves the problem is now available in the App Store.
How do I create an image?
Click on the "Get Started" button, on any of the images or on the "Customize" buttons on the ImageChef front page. Once you select your template, you can type in any text that you would like. The words will appear on your image.
How do I save an image to my computer?
Right-click on the image and select "save image", or simply click and drag the image to your computer’s desktop.
How do I register for an ImageChef Account?
Click on the “Register Now" link on the front page or the “Register Now” button in the upper right hand corner on any other page. The registration process only takes a few seconds.
What do I get when I register?
Registered members have the benefit of emailing their personalized images in an email greeting. Members are also allowed to use ImageChef to host their personalized images. Hosting your images with us allows you to more easily post your images on blogs, MySpace pages, and the like.
What kind of images does ImageChef make?
Our images are currently JPEG (.jpg) for still images and animated GIF (.gif) files for animations.
How to redeem a subscription plan for ImageChef PRO account?
If you purchased a ImageChef Pro subscription plan from our qualified reseller (e.g. SOURCENEXT ), you will receive a 30-digit code to redeem your Pro account.
Follow the below steps to enjoy your ImageChef Pro.
1. Sign in your ImageChef account. If you do not have one, you can get one for free by registering on the same page.
2. Enter your 30-digit code and then click Next.
3. Verify your subscription plan and expiration date.
Note: Your ImageChef Pro account will be available for the subscribed period from the date your subscription service is redeemed. If you have any problem, you can contact customer support.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
If you try to log in with an incorrect password, a button will appear for you to reset your password. Press the "Reset Password" button. You will then receive an email with a link to our site. When the email arrives, simply click the link and you will be able to set a new password.
I registered with you, but I didn't get
a confirmation e-mail. What do I do?
Log in, and go to the 'Account' page. There is a button to resend your welcome email.
Why didn’t you respond to my email?
We normally respond to email within two business
days. If we have not responded in that time frame, please send us
another note; sometimes things do get lost.
