Getting Started

How do I create an image?
Click on any of the images on the ImageChef front page. This will take you to a second page, where you can type in any text that you would like. The words will appear on your image.

How do I save an image to my computer?
Click on the “Download Image” link, right-click on it and select “save image,” or simply click and drag the image to your computer’s desktop.

How do I register for an ImageChef Account?
Click on the “Register Now” link on the front page. The registration process only takes a few seconds.

What do I get when I register?
Registered members are allowed to use ImageChef to host their personalized images. Hosting your images with us allows you to more easily post your images on blogs, MySpace pages, and the like.

What kind of images does ImageChef make?
Our images are currently JPEG (.jpg) for still images and animated GIF (.gif) files for animations.

How do I upload my images to my blog, MySpace, Hi5 etc.?

Problems

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Please send an email to supportimagechef.com with the words “Lost Password” in the subject line. We will respond by sending you a new password and instructions via email.

I registered with you, but I didn't get a confirmation e-mail. What do I do?

Please send an email to supportimagechef.com with the words “Need Password” in the subject line. We’ll double-check that your registration went through, and send you instructions via email.

Why didn’t you respond to my email?

We normally respond to email within two business days. If we have not responded in that time frame, please send us another note; sometimes things do get lost.
